Playoffs Round 3: Game 6: Bucks at Raptors!

Get Yourselves in Ready Position!

  • Game 6 in the 6ix!! Raptors took control of the series for the first time with a big win on Thursday night! One more win puts them in the NBA Finals
  • It was a group effort from Toronto with Fred Van Vleet drilling 7 threes, in fact the raptors hit more 3 point shots than 2 point shots!
  • Expect Milwaukee to bring everything they got in a do or die game that they need to win to send the series back to Milwaukee. This is gonna be good!

Game 73: Thunder at Raptors!

Welcome Home!

  • Second night of a home & home for the Thunder and Raptors and it just so happens to be a Welcome To Toronto night in the 6ix. Meaning the Raps will don their White and Gold attire
  • Raptors won in overtime in Oklahoma City on Wednesday, so expect the Thunder to come with a fire inside. Paul George didn't play exceptionally well in game 1 so he's fixing to have a big night
  • Kyle Lowry will sit again due to his sore ankle. Fred Van Vleet gets the start. For the Thunder on Andre Roberson is sidelined with a knee injury
Tonight's Raptor Track!

Coheed & Cambria - "Welcome Home"

An epic track for an epic night & game.

Tonight's Game Day Drink

Ridgeway Warm Welcome

A Brown ale with real attitude...apparently! Coming from North Heath, England it's a hearty beer at 6.0%ABV , but still maybe a little tame for English standards! Enjoy tonight as a wee bit of snow has fallen...

Game 34: Cavaliers at Raptors!

White & Gold

  • Raptors seemingly stole a win on Wednesday after a no-call on a foul from OG on Bogdan Bogdanovic. A win is a win though and especially since the Raptors are down some key members
  • Kyle Lowry and Jonas Valanciunas remain out and will not likely return until after Christmas. Serge Ibaka is still out with knee soreness as is Danny Green
  • The Cavaliers aren't immune to the injury bug either. Tristan Thompson, Jeff Green, Kevin Love and JR Smith not in action tonight
  • It's also another OVO night as the Raptors don their White and Gold jerseys
Tonight's Raptor Track!

Corb Lund - "I Wanna Be The Cavalry"

Corb Lund is a Canadian country and western singer from Alberta Canada. Nine albums to his name and 3 certified gold. He's also been known to dabble in hard rock as well

Tonight's Game Day Drink!

Spiked Eggnog

This being the last home game before Christmas, I think it's fitting to have a nice Christmas staple.
Happy Holidays everyone! Be safe and warm!

Playoffs Round 1: Game 4: Raptors (1) at Wizards(8)!

We have a series folks. Wizards took game 3, their first at home in the post season. Raptors looking to take this last one and get back that home court advantage for game 5.

  • Looks like Van Vleet's injury is a little more serious than originally anticipated. He suffered a seperated shoulder after taking a nasty pick in the last game against Miami. He sits tonight
  • The Wizards took advantage of OG and Valanciunas in the pick and roll. Forcing the slower JV to come out and contest Wall and Beal, which gave them easy jumpers. Lets see how the Raptors coaches will adapt to that
  • The Raptors bench, which has been the difference maker all season, struggled on Friday night. We need them back to true form, getting in lanes, causing turnovers and passing the ball
Tonight's Raptor Track!

Anti-Flag - "Sodom, Gommorah, Washington DC"

Anti-Flag are a politically driven punk band out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This one is off their lesser known album The People Or The Gun.

Tonight's Game Day Drink!

Coors Light

Gotta go back to the silver bullet, sponsoring the Raptors and bringing it home!

Raptors lead series 2-1

Playoff Round 1: Game 3: Raptors (1) at Wizards(8)!

Game 3. F yeah. Raptors taking an RV down to Washington DC to try and wrap this thing up quick. Up 2 games. Not worrying about what you lot. Raptors, Wizards. Who ya got?

  • After trying to get some burn in Game 2, Fred Van Vleet will sit again for this game. Guess his shoulder is a little worser off than realized. Fuck Miami.
  • Wizards will stick with their starting lineup even though it was a few bench players who had their way with us. Mike Scott and Ty Lawson (newcomer) seemingly got whatever they wanted. Let's see how out bench reacts defensively to them tonight
  • Raptors have never been up 2-0 against an opponent in a playoff series. Feels good bros. Don't take these feeling for granted at all
Tonight's Raptor Track!

Chris Jericho's Theme - "Break The Walls Down"

John Wall hasn't been terrible this series but he's complained about the refs and has had little help from his running mate Bradley Beal. So clearly if Toronto gets further into the head of John Wall it's a surefire recipe for success. Chris Jericho's early 2000's WWE theme fits that sentiment perfectly.

Tonight's Game Day Drink

Velicoraptor Double IPA

Brought to you by a brewery in my neck of the woods, Ottawa, Ontario. It's Bycicle Brewery's Velicoraptor Double IPA. What makes it a double IPA you ask? It's 8% ABV and 94 IBU. Do anything for you holmes? Thats what I thought

Raptors lead series 2-0!

Game 70: Raptors at Magic!

All good things come to an end. The Raptors' streak ended on Sunday at 11 games, as they lost in questionable fashion to the OKC Thunder. Up ward and onward! Tonight the boys are in Orlando to duel with the Magical ones

  • Looks like DeMar DeRozan is going sit this game out with a minor thigh contusion. I'm sure it's nothing serious and is basically another word for "rest". Can't be fined for a contusion!
  • Fred Van Vleet missed Sunday's game after getting an injured hand in practice and he'll miss tonight as well. Lorenzo Brown likely has made the trip and Delon Wright will see heavy minutes
  • Former Raptor Terrence Ross is still sidelined with an injury and will likely miss the rest of the season. Orlando is already eliminated from playoff contention so there is no point rushing him back
Tonight's Raptor Track!

The Beatles - "Magical Mystery Tour"

Can't get enough of The Beatles and they need more representation around these waters. Sadly the only insect named team is the Hornets. And there is no team called The Walruses or The Eggmen. But clearly there should be

Tonight's Game Day Drink!

White Magic Vodka

Tagline: Distilled 7 times! An extremely clear vodka with a taste that is magic! Drink it straight, why not

Game 50: Raptors at Wizards!

In a rare road game the Raptors take to Washington to do battle with the Wizards. Here we'll find a few All-Stars and some not so-friendly fans
  • In a recent rash of All-Star players being suddenly sidelined due to injury John Wall will miss about 6-8 weeks for a banged up knee. Kevin Love and Demarcus Cousins will also have to sit out the All-Star Game due to injuries
  • Fred Van Vleet did not make the trip with the Raptors as he's needed back in Toronto with a newborn daughter. CJ Miles is also questionable with knee soreness
  • Norman Powell had a great game against the Timberwolves without Miles in the line-up, we're gonna energy and shooting from him to have a successful game in Washington.
Tonight's Raptor Track!

Beadouin Soundclash - "Walls Fall Down"

Is this mean? I'm not trying to be, i'm not happy John Wall is injured, but it's a reality. Plus these guys are from Toronto. Good song too

Today's Game Day Drink!

The Public Pale

Our game day beer is brought to us tonight be DC Brau Brewing Company out of Washington, DC.  The Public is an American Pale Ale style beer. Assertive bitterness backed by C-60 and Vienna malts which lend notes of rich, yet semi-dry caramel. Then followed up with a nice white grapefruit and citrus aroma that begs for a follow up sip.

Game 43: Pistons at Raptors!

Raptors need to get back on the winning track tonight, and will look to do so against the visiting Detroit Pistons. There's always an odd energy about the game when these two teams get up to tangle

  • Kyle Lowry made his return Monday in an afternoon game with the 76ers. He's missed the 3 games before that with a bruised tailbone. Though he didn't have the best game he showed heart going after loose rebounds. He did let rookie Ben Simmons get under his skin though, which is what those 76ers are good at.
  • Fred Van Vleet went down awkwardly during that game though and is listed as day to day. No word yet if he'll play tonight
  • The Pistons will be without Reggie Jackson and John Leuer. Stanley Johnson and Avery Bradley are listed as day to day and missed today's practice.
Tonight's Raptor Track!

Bob Seger - "Detroit Made"

Kind of a new one from Bob Seger. Not sure if it will end up being one of his classics like "Night Moves" or "Mainstreet", but it's got that Motor City rustic feel.

Tonight's Game Day Drink!

Piston Broke

Brought to us the Box Steam Brewery in Trowbridge, England. The Piston Broke is a golden ale with good bitterness and roastedness. Overall a good toffee beer

Game 22: Suns at Raptors!

After an unusual 3 day break the Toronto Raptors return to their home court to take on the setting Phoenix Suns!

  • Raptors should be well rested and relaxed after a few much needed days of home cookin'. Though Delon Wright continues to rehab his dislocated shoulder, Lucas Noguiera will sit with a torn pectoral muscle and Jakbo Poeltl is questionable after missing practice yesterday with an illness.
  • Another familiar face around the ACC will return tonight as former Raptor head coach Jay Triano was named the interim head coach for Phoenix after Earl Watson was fired earlier this year. Triano was head coach in Toronto during some rough years. 2009-2011 and was the NBA's first Canadian born head coach
  • Masai Ujiri was also busy today as he hosted his 4th annual Giants Of Africa event that honours Nelson Mandela and raises awareness and funds for the struggles of African youth. Expect a few big names and high rollers at the game tonight
Tonight's Raptor Track!

The Glorious Sons - "Everything Is Alright"

Hailing from Kingston, Ontario, Canada, the Glorious Sons have been making waves and gaining fans inside and outside of the Great White North. "Everything Is Alright" is from the 2017 album Young Beauties & Fools. It's a sentiment the Phoenix Suns could adopt, as their season hasn't gone quite as well as they hoped.

Tonight's Game Day Drink!

Tequila Sunrise

Some tequila, some orange juice and some grenadine will get you a nice little warm weather cocktail known as the Tequila Sunrise. For a bonus fun fact, this drink was created at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel in.....wait for it...........let me finish......Phoenix! Boomshakalaka!

Raptors 3rd in East 14-7! Suns 11th in West 9-16!
