Playoff Round 4: Game 2: Warriors at Raptors!

Jurassic World

  • Raptors took game 1 against the Warriors at home! Pascal Siakam had a phenomenal Finals debut scoring 32 points and just bringing the hustle in general
  • Kevin Durant is still a no-go for tonight's game. Andre Igoudala who came down awkward on his leg in game 1 will play
  • Big news for Raptors fans as OG Anunoby, who has missed every game of the Playoffs so far due to an emergency appendectomy, will go tonight!

The Used - "Blue & Yellow"

The Used's debut self-titled album has to be on the top 100 list of albums from the years 2000-2009. So many great songs and so many great memories that go along with them. "Blue & Yellow" is one of those songs.

Playoff Round 2: Game 6: Raptors at 76ers!

Deep Breath...

  • Raptors have a shot at ending it TONIGHT! With a win in Philly the Raptors would advance to the Eastern Conference Finals to face the Milwaukee Bucks. The 76ers aren't just going to lay down and die though. Need a professional approach
  • Serge Ibaka got knocked in the head by Kawhi Leonard and came back with an ugly bump and 3 stitches. Played a great game though and will go tonight
  • No word on how Embiid is feeling. Philly fans need a big performance from him tonight for their team to have a fighting chance

Mobius Band - "Philadelphia"

Coming from their 2005 album The Loving Sounds of Static, "Philadelphia" is a song by the Brooklyn based electro-pop trio Mobius Band. Enjoy!

Game 73: Thunder at Raptors!

Welcome Home!

  • Second night of a home & home for the Thunder and Raptors and it just so happens to be a Welcome To Toronto night in the 6ix. Meaning the Raps will don their White and Gold attire
  • Raptors won in overtime in Oklahoma City on Wednesday, so expect the Thunder to come with a fire inside. Paul George didn't play exceptionally well in game 1 so he's fixing to have a big night
  • Kyle Lowry will sit again due to his sore ankle. Fred Van Vleet gets the start. For the Thunder on Andre Roberson is sidelined with a knee injury

Game 66: Raptors at Pelicans!

Come At Us Brow!

  • After a few tough losses against Detroit and Houston, the Raptors head back out on the road to New Orleans and take on the pesky Pelicans
  • It's no secret at this point that Anthony Davis wants out of New Orleans. The trade deadline has come and gone however and he remains a Pelican. Though the whole fiasco cost GM Dell Demps his job, it's likely that Davis will be dealt over the Summer.
  • Jrue Holiday, who is have a great year and absolutely torched the Raptors last time, is listed as out due to an abdominal strain. Also out for the Pels is E'Twaun Moore with Jahill Okafor listed as questionable. Only Fred Van Vleet is out for the Raptors
Tonight's Raptor Track!

Muddy Waters - "Louisiana Blues"

A legendary Bluesman gives us tonight's Raptors Track. Muddy Waters, real name McKinley Morganfield is often cited as the "Father Of Chicago Blues". After countless Grammys, Blues Foundation Awards and an induction into the Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame he passed away in 1983 at the age of 70.

Game 18: Raptors at Magic!

Do You Believe In Magic?

  • Raptors broke their losing streak on Saturday night with a decisive win over the Chicago Bulls 122-83, which saw many bench and 905ers get some playing time
  • Kyle Lowry left the game with a sore ankle but said earlier today he is feeling fine. Wouldn't be shocked if he sat this one out with Kawhi in. Miles, Anunoby and Powell still out.
  • The Magic haven't looked half bad this season so far and have some tough match ups for Toronto. Nikola Vucevic has always given the Raptor bigs problems and former Toronto Draft Pick Terrence Ross has been having a sixth-man caliber season averaging close to 15 points off the bench

Game 14: Pelicans at Raptors!

The Wind Under Their Wings

  • Raptors are back in action after defeating the New York Knicks on Saturday. Though it was a quiet game from Kawhi Leonard, Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka, Toronto still found a way to get the win. Their bench gave them some impressive numbers from players like Jonas Valanciunas, OG Anunoby and Delon Wright. Pascal Siakam had a phenomenal night which included 3 made 3pt shots. He is your Eastern Conference Player Of The Week
  • The Pelicans lost DeMarcus Cousins in the off season to Golden State. Though they did pick up a talented big man in Julius Randle who the Lakers let walk. Jrue Holiday and Anthony "The Brow" Davis are also capable of having All-Star nights.
  • Nikola Mirotic is a day-to-day decision due to a sore ankle and Elfrid Payton is likely out as well with an ankle. He's a game time decision

The Nits - "Pelican and Penguin"

Nits are a Dutch pop-band out of Amsterdam. Formed in 1974, their career has spanned over 40 years as their latest album was released in 2017. "Pelican and Penguin" was from their 1987 album In The Dutch Mountains

Game 22: Suns at Raptors!

After an unusual 3 day break the Toronto Raptors return to their home court to take on the setting Phoenix Suns!

  • Raptors should be well rested and relaxed after a few much needed days of home cookin'. Though Delon Wright continues to rehab his dislocated shoulder, Lucas Noguiera will sit with a torn pectoral muscle and Jakbo Poeltl is questionable after missing practice yesterday with an illness.
  • Another familiar face around the ACC will return tonight as former Raptor head coach Jay Triano was named the interim head coach for Phoenix after Earl Watson was fired earlier this year. Triano was head coach in Toronto during some rough years. 2009-2011 and was the NBA's first Canadian born head coach
  • Masai Ujiri was also busy today as he hosted his 4th annual Giants Of Africa event that honours Nelson Mandela and raises awareness and funds for the struggles of African youth. Expect a few big names and high rollers at the game tonight

The Glorious Sons - "Everything Is Alright"

Hailing from Kingston, Ontario, Canada, the Glorious Sons have been making waves and gaining fans inside and outside of the Great White North. "Everything Is Alright" is from the 2017 album Young Beauties & Fools. It's a sentiment the Phoenix Suns could adopt, as their season hasn't gone quite as well as they hoped.
